Seems to be one side of this argument doing systematic nationwide violence and hoax victimization. Pardon me for skepticism.

Hoaxes, false flags, chemtrails.

A big, YUGE stupid bubble.

What do you say about the crimes that turn out to be false? Do you ignore those?

Magnitude matters.

hey skeptic, did you see the video of the middle school kids in Michigan chanting build the wall at school? It's all over the news so no, i'm not going to provide the link for your convenience.

up

To the recent violent attacks being carried out across the country by the left. But "Love Trumps Hate" right.....

up
Voting closed 0

Who turned out to be a victim of a road-rage incident that had nothing to do with the election?

up
Voting closed 0

Kids being mean to other kids? Well, that's never happened before.

You are right, let's ditch a much needed change to our immigration policy because some kids made some other kids feel bad.

up
Voting closed 0

If you watched the video and still stand by your comment then you are heartless.

up

About wanting to punish those who broke a law?

up
Voting closed 0

So is creditors repossessing property after payment default, police arresting people...you know...adult stuff.

up
Voting closed 0

I hope you never have kids if that is your attitude toward bullying.

You will be a totally shitty parent.

up
Voting closed 0

Why, because some actually feel immigration laws should be enforced?

Wow

Thanks for the reminder, I need to add foil to my list. And no, it's not for a hat :)

Keep an open mind.

There have been dozens of reports of abuse and assault and vandalism in the two days since the election, but I'm sure it's all false flag operations being carried out by a shadowy network of Democratic operatives, whose motives are inscrutable. That sounds much more likely than the alternative, which is that the election of a misogynist bigot demagogue has given the whole damned country legitimacy to let fly with the barely-disguised contempt they've been fostering lo these past eight years.

I mean, I know YOU'RE just a conservative troll, EM, but for anyone else reading who's reading, I want you to fill in step two in this cunning plan by the Democrats:

Step 1: Hire a bunch of people to infiltrate right-leaning events, carve swastikas in recycling bins, drive trucks around with "KILL KILL KILL" and Confederate flags hanging out the window, etc.
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit Somehow parlay this into an electoral victory.

The election was two days ago. If this vast network of co-conspirators could deploy this quickly, and across this broad a spectrum of general race-baiting, don't you think they maybe would have done so last week?

I do give you partial credit, though, for sticking to a straight Trump's Razor explanation of the last couple of days. Takes a lot of courage to publicly proclaim such an unbelievably stupid thing, but you're a company man, EM.

i am neither a fan of trump nor his policies, but stories like this do cast a shadow of doubt on the likes of the swastika in jp:
https://www.reddit.com/r/news/comments/5cadd3/police_ullafayette_student...

a healthy dose s skepticism is always needed, for both sides of the discussion. Like the many fake stories about gangs of immigrants robbing and raping circulating around conservative groups, same in the uhubs of the world:
extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
peace.

Well there is overwhelming evidence of George Soros(please, I'd love to hear you defend this guy) paying prosters, funding Black Live Matters protests via MoveOn.org. If you deny any involvement by Soros you're ignorant and need to do some research on him. Soros has donated millions to these groups.

Further, here are a few examples of hoax "hate crimes." Are you denying that there is nothing for the Left to gain by perpetuating the narrative of Trump being a racists, misogynist, sexists yada yada yada?

Those are cold hard facts, what more do you want? Also, check out the market basket flyer above - Kleenex is on sale, enough for the whole family. Won't stop the howling, but at least it'll take care of the snot.

Did you miss the story about the millions of people who voted for an openly racist person who is supported by the KKK? It's been covered on the news just a little bit.

"In 2010, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fondly eulogized Sen. Robert Byrd, a former member and recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan. Clinton called Byrd “my friend and mentor” in a video message to commemorate his passing.

As a young man in West Virginia, Byrd was involved in the KKK and reportedly recruited 150 members to the group. While serving in Congress, Byrd set the record for longest filibuster on the floor of the U.S. Senate with a 14-hour filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights Act."
----------
"We come to celebrate and give thanks for the remarkable life of J. William Fulbright, a life that changed our country and our world forever and for the better. . . . In the work he did, the words he spoke and the life he lived, Bill Fulbright stood against the 20th century’s most destructive forces and fought to advance its brightest hopes."

So spoke President William J. Clinton in 1995 of a man was among the 99 Democrats in Congress to sign the “Southern Manifesto” in 1956. (Two Republicans also signed it.) The Southern Manifesto declared the signatories’ opposition to the Supreme Court’s decision in Brown v. Board of Education and their commitment to segregation forever. Fulbright was also among those who filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964. That filibuster continued for 83 days.

Senator Byrd said in 2005, "I know now I was wrong. Intolerance had no place in America. I apologized a thousand times ... and I don't mind apologizing over and over again. I can't erase what happened."

It's clear he wasn't holding hate in his heart in his later years. It doesn't seem right to denounce the Clintons for speaking well of the dead, in this case.

Trump, on the other hand... well, he doesn't apologize well or often.

up
Voting closed 0

So just because he apologized vindicates he previous positions? What if Trump came out and apologized for his abhorrent comments, would you forgive him or assume he knows holds those beliefs? Not defending Trump here but there seems to be a bit of a double standard.

up
Voting closed 0

Yeah CCD, if Donald Trump started to apologize for his many bigoted remarks, publically and often, and backed it up with his actions, I *would* be inclined to give him some credit, the same as I did for Sen. Byrd.

No double standard because he hasn't done that yet.

up
Voting closed 0

He's going to write a check to each one of us for $1 million? Let's try to stick to facts rather than making up hypotheticals.

Trump has NOT apologized for anything, ever, except for, yes, that one time his campaign forced him to apologize for anybody offended by him yukking it up about pussy grabbing.

IF Trump comes out and does a Robert Byrd or a George Wallace and apologizes for his entire life, then, yes, let's talk.

up

We will assume that you keep to the same concepts.

Actually ... probably not far off given the drivel you spew here.

But please do keep repeating the same three or four talking points linked to batshit crazy websites. We may not be able to understand "body of evidence" either, and think there are more if you keep saying them over and over.

I guess the KKK better cancel their Trump victory parades in the South now that you've uncovered this totally secret and never-before-seen historical bombshell, that in the 50s a lot of the racist shitheads were Democrats

up

...And the 60s when more Democrats opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 than Republicans.

up

Let me know when you get caught up to 2016 when the Klan is holding parades for Donald Trump, I have no particular plans this weekend

Racism exists on both sides of the political spectrum. Is this okay below? Will you condemn these actions? Or does this guy deserve it for voting for Trump?

That group reference in the URL is a few black males.

Yes it IS a swastika (bad, bad, bad.) But honestly I was expecting it to be a lot more visible based on all the ensuing hubbub.

(Maybe "carved" in the titled suggested a certain depth, while perhaps "scratched" would have been more accurate.)

up

Doesn't even look like a complete swastika. More like the greek letter psi.

up
Voting closed 0

I'm taking early bets on whether FISH, CCD, or EM is going to be the first to try to pivot the conversation to "Well ACTUALLY the swastika has a lot of important religious significance to the Hindus."

I mean, once the "George Soros is actually responsible for this rash of hate crimes" narrative dries up in a few days, they're going to need SOMETHING to blame this mess on. It's been two days, and the early trajectory has November containing more of this than the entire year preceding the election. It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the fact that they just helped elect a human dumpster fire to the nation's highest office.

up
Voting closed 0

Nope not gonna try that at all. The Holocaust was a horrific event and if it weren't for superior US military, those atrocities would have continued.

I didn't vote for Trump, wrote in a candidate. However, as I said it my earlier post, many "hate crimes" has been revealed as hoaxes. I will remain skeptical of them until evidence comes forth proving there validity. What is to stop anyone (you, myself) from spray painting derogatory slogans or swastikas and claiming it is a hate crime; that is a result of Trump being elected? Nothing. There are idiots of all ideologies and across both political spectrum's. That is a fact.
