Allston blinks out

Some 2,300 Eversource customers are without power tonight. AndreaWBZ reports the company is hoping to get everything back to normal by 8 p.m.

power wasn't back on until about 10. not a huge deal but a bit of an inconvenience.

Whereabouts was yesterday's outage? Our little enclave near Packard's Corner lost power for a few hours Monday afternoon. Very weird because my block of houses has two trunk lines, so at first we lost power only in parts of the house, until they took the defective transformer completely offline.
