Armed career criminal charged with Roxbury double murder in 2013

Tabari Muhammad, 25, is scheduled for arraignment today on charges he fatally shot Tremayne Jackson, 22, and Mibsam Wiggins, 23, in the parking lot of the Walgreens at 416 Warren St. on May 3, 2013.

A Suffolk County grand jury had indicted him last month, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Two months after allegedly murdering the two men, Muhummad and another man were arrested for shooting a man on Fenno Street. In that incident, he ran into a nearby home and was arrested covered in human waste from the sewer line he allegedly damaged as he tried to fit himself into a crawl space.

Officials didn't have to search hard for Muhammad to charge him with the murders - he was already behind bars serving a seven-year term for the Fenno Street shooting.

Muhammad has a 2008 conviction for armed robbery in Florida.

Innocent, etc.
