Gym class at Girls Latin ini the late 50's or early 60's?
Not so late
Girls' Latin didn't move to Codman Square until 1955, and based on the haircuts in the photo I'm guessing this photo dates to the 1930s or 40s. At that time the Codman Square school was the Dorchester School for Girls.
In any case, I'm intimately familiar with the gym in Codman Square, having spent 6 years of misery there, and the gym in the photo doesn't look quite right to me. In particular, that doorway doesn't look anything like the one I remember.
Bloomers at GLS
I also spent a few years at GLS in Codman Square in the early 60s. I remember ironing my blue 'bloomers' and white blouse for gym class, which I hated. Don't remember the gym teacher's name, but we were all terrified of her. We played 'deck tennis' among other fun activities....tossing a rubber ring across a badminton net to the girls on the other side. And did a lot of sit-ups.
I wonder how long GLS made students wear ironed bloomers/blouses for gym class?
Bloomers
They shifted from bloomers to knit shorts during my time there, so somewhere in the vicinity of 1970.

Fish, why don't you and Trump go off somewhere and make fun of handicapped people.
Do the original school buildings still exist?
When I look at the schools's website I see a very modern looking campus.

Apparently...
... this is now the Boston Day and Evening Academy.
Horace Mann is in Allston.
Horace Mann is in Allston.
Jackson-Mann
Yes, the Jackson-Mann School, which includes the current incarnation of the Horace Mann School, is in Union Square, Allston. But it definitely was not there in the 1930s, when this photo was taken. Elmer's post above is correct.
Wheatley School gymnasium
is what is shown in the picture.
Different location
From 1929-1975, the school was on Kearsarge Ave. I believe it was in the building that is now Boston Day and Evening Academy.
