More people have been arrested in connection with the Fisherman's Feast than with the stuff down on the Common yesterday?

No inferences on your coverage. You've been following the North End teenager issue for weeks. Still, the numbers are there.

I bet anything they spent their whole time in custody going on about what a "real city" is like and how Boston is nothing but a little town.

Suburbanites suck When they visit.

Yep. Especially the grown ups that proclaim to be "die hard" sports fans. there should be a tax for them every time they come into boston because the lower the quality of life for actual boston residents.

the next boston garden should be built next to the 495 / 90 interchange so the celtics and bruins can be closer to their consumers.

They're getting paid by Soros, too.

This looks like another longstanding neighborhood event that has devolved into something that some people think is alright to come into the city and think it's a place or an event to trash and just act in a way they wouldn't where they live.
Evacuation Day/Saint Patrick's Day comes to mind. From the links I read the arrests are high for the number of attendees.
I wish the police did the same in South Boston in March. Mind you the number of attendees are much higher for St. Patrick's Day/Evacuation Day, but the police are more inclined to write summonses.
Of late this city seems to be a drawing point for many who don't live here with intentions that are other than honorable.
Have a great week one and all!

Give the Southie St. Patrick's Day bitching a rest at least until after Christmas please, sheesh!

Back to the topic at hand: been to Fisherman's Feast Sunday night flight of the angel several times... didn't seem like there were that many drunks from the 'burbs acting 'omfg I'm in the city' out of control. Yes, lots of drinkers, but fun 'orderly' drunks who were there to have a good time.

Click on the BPD link I just added to the original post for a statement by the captain for that police district.

I went Thursday night and saw no rowdy behavior whatsoever from anyone. It was fairly quiet overall.

charges were lowered and they'll end up maybe getting community service.
