Burger place that needs an exclamation point in its name to open downtown

Boston Restaurant Talk reports that Mooyah, a Texas burger chain that recently opened its first Boston location in Jackson Square, is looking to open up on Tremont Street, across from the Common. It would replace Ziti, which, one presumes from the name, specialized in pasta. Being on that stretch of Tremont, parking will probably be tough; we assume workers will be trained to yell "Mooyah cah!"

Has anyone tried Mooyah? I've never even heard of it.

When I lived in Jackson Square it was always disappointing to see all the retail space in that new building vacant, so I'm glad to see something there!

Friends have gone and reported back the food is good, service is poor. Yelp seems to support that.

They're using the same strategy that the Hilltop tried out in their last few years in business.

I can also confirm that the service is poor, and the food isn't good enough to tolerate the service.

Wait, Ziti's Express is closing? That was my go-to place for cheap food before a concert @ The Orpheum

... to Boston Common. Bostonians hand over their cash to Texas. That's bull crap!

A burger place is replacing Ziti's. Ziti's replaced UBurger. I forget what was in that space before UBurger, but I assume it was a different pasta place. Time is a flat circle.

I liked Uburger. I occasionally go to the one in Kenmore Sq, but it was nice to have the downtown one - nearer to where I work. We'll see what this new place is like...
