Citizen complaint of the day: The full trash barrel that moves of its own volition

A mystified citizen files a complaint about a trash barrel at the intersection of Weld Hill and Wenham streets in Jamaica Plain:
I reported this trash can last week. It moved to the other side of the intersection but it still full of trash and no owner is taking responsibility. It's not labeled so I don't know which neighbor is responsible.

Trash Barrel
My guess is it's abandoned. Take it in your yard/alley if you have one; paint your house number on it and it's yours.
I'm fed up with people in all parts of the City storing full and empty barrels on the sidewalk. If they're on the sidewalk with no identification on them, anyone can have them because they're abandoned.
