Citizen complaint of the day: Shopping cart full of potatoes and raw chicken wings

Today we take a trip out of town, way up to Chelsea, where somebody files a report about, well, a grocery cart full of potatoes and raw chicken wings just sitting on 2nd Street near Broadway.

H/t AE Cuneo, who says she's not sure she wants to know the story behind this.

One thing you gotta love about my city, the City Manager personally was aware of this (if you look at the chain of what happened on the bottom) lol

This is a thing in chelsea. No idea why.. but often I see shopping carts with rotting veggies on my street.

Not sure what the reasoning is... (i.e. abandoned groceries, sharing food, etc) but it happens alot.

Living in Chelsea for 4 years I frequented that MB a lot... My guess is someone tried to run off with a cart full of meat & produce and the cart's wheels locked up after the parking lot boundary was crossed (electronic magnets... how do they work??), and gave up the heist.

The wings aren't even packaged... what in the world was going on there?? Now I'm positively baffled.

Perhaps this is the rejected portion of an otherwise successful dumpster dive at a grocery store?

In my strolls about Chelsea (and especially along the industrial frontier/phantom marshlands bordering Everett) I have found stranger things in shopping carts!

The photo has also inspired me to revise my designs for a mobile grilling unit...
