...or a burning cigarette butt, more likely. With pretty much no snow pack state-wide, we're entering "elevated fire danger" season earlier than usual. Smokers, for god's sake, dispose of your butts responsibly. This means extinguishing them fully and disposing of them in an appropriate receptacle, and if that's your own pocket, so be it. It doesn't mean tossing them out of a car window.

Cedar Grove , paying my respects. Then out of nowhere the overwhelming smell of smoke. Turn around to see that some asshole set the brush on fire . Whoever did this is a real POS . Firefighters had a tough time getting to the spot.
