Why halo there
By adamg on Sun, 06/04/2017 - 5:46pm
Orhan Celiker looked up over Cambridge around 12:50 p.m. today.
Our own Kaz reports:
That's a solar halo. It's formed when sunlight goes through randomly oriented ice crystals in the troposphere.
Glory? Circular rainbow? Somewhere between cool and creepy, whatever it is. @universalhub pic.twitter.com/cX4wQHzv5M
