House, vehicle hit by gunfire in Cambridge

Cambridge Police are investigating gunfire on Elm Street, between Cambridge Street and Webster Avenue, around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say witnesses reported multiple gunshots. Officers found fresh gunshot damage to a vehicle and the siding of a house; no victims turned up.

Upon arrival, witnesses reported seeing a gray SUV motor vehicle quickly leaving the area towards Somerville after the gunshots were fired.
