In the spirit of being anti-Trump, us Bostonians should welcome this fine family to the area and take enjoyment when the Steelers win for them.

Bruins 1, Habs 0*

*haha I personally hated that chirp but laughed when it first came out.

My favorite falsehood are the people who trash Montreal for supposedly having free-reign over prospects in Quebec and hence, why they had so much talent in the heydays of the various Habs dynasties.

Or the ones that complain about Cup wins from before the NHL. Gotta respect a franchise that can outdate the league they play in.

I was using the Internet the last time the Habs won the Cup.

That said, since the Patrick Roy trade, it is Habs 0, the former Nordiques 2, with a few going Steeltown way.

We actually outlasted the Habs-by a day. Yikes, the Caps are back in it! No lead is safe in the playoffs.

Hi Adam for the past couple o' weeks I have been unable to access uhub on the first page load - instead, just one random JetBlue ad loads in the corner. Have to refresh a few times to make it go away. Just FYI in case there is a bug with the ads (I am on Firefox)

I am a total yinzer. I am raising kids here who have no allegiance to the sports teams of my youth in Pittsburgh. It's sad. I still call it "going home".

this kind of personal, private shit on a huge screen in front of 35,000 plus people (not including far more watching on TV), it's either originally designed to be or evolved into a marketing gimmick to attract more females to the park and to watch on TV.

I bet you were commenting on the ballpark proposal thread.

Maybe Adam needs to make the horizontal lines as dark as the vertical line along the margin.

I love the Bruins and I'm looking forward to next season, but right now I can't argue with the Pens. They're the Caps' daddy once again. Shattenkirk is a -7 so far in the postseason. Ouch.

Nothing against the Pens, but Ziegler never should have let them steal a color scheme from an Original Six team back in '80/'81.

Being one who roots for a non-local NHL team, I totally give them their props for the Pens vanity plate. When they go home, their friends are probably wicked jealous.

Plus, Pittsburgh is one of those places where people are fiercely local to their town and teams. Oh course, like friends who grew up here Bruins fans then moved to the Tampa area and had kids, their offspring will probably have different rooting interests.

Still named our cat after Mario LeMieux.

Got to recognize greatness where it lives.
