There are yachts, and then there's this thing

Giant yacht berthed in Boston

Robert Alvarez spotted this behemoth (complete with its own helicopter, of course), wonders which one of us owns it. Scott Eisen, who spotted it anchored off Peddocks Island earlier today, reports it's the Vava II, owned by Kirsty Bertarelli, a little love token from her billionaire hubby Ernesto. It replaced the couple's previous yacht, which was only half as long.

...go away soon.
There is already enough noise in the Harbor Islands thanks to the low flying planes out of Logan.

I bet you don't even hear the boat. Some people gotta whine.

They are referring to the helicopter on the yacht, hence the subject being "I hope it and it's helicopter ...". Some people just gotta act superior...

I've never seen one flying from any of the boats I've seen with them. I suspect it might not be allowed so close to Logan.

I bet the asking price is still cheaper than a three decker in Southie.

According to the daily mail, it was 100 million pounds, or $131,148,000. You could buy a 1-bedroom condo for what they spend to fill the gas tanks.

And don't forget the staff. Not the kind of boat you operate yourself (plus a chef, pilot, etc.)

Is it someone else's smaller yacht or is it this yacht's lifeboat?

Always like to see billionaires recycling their cash back into the economy. It's certainly better than diving into a pile of gold coins, like Scrooge McDuck.

You've done both?
