Chelsea firefighters find body while fighting a brush fire

Chelsea firefighters and State Police discovered a body at a brush fire between Rtes. 1 and 16 at Webster Ave. around 6:45 p.m., the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

The body, preliminarily identified as that of a man, was found in an area frequented by homeless people, the DA's office says, adding:

The investigation into the origin of the fire, the cause and manner of the person's death, and whether those evens are related is active tonight.
