Orange Line ride a bear due to switch problems called severe

The MBTA reports the dreaded "severe" delays on the Orange Line due to switch problems at Forest Hills that have basically knocked one track out of service between Forest Hills and Stony Brook.

Maggie reports that, at least at first, one train driver didn't seem to know what to do:

[Driver] told us to get off from orange line to forest hills at stonybrook due to switch issues and told to take shuttle busses to forest hills. After 5 mins of no shuttle bus told us to get back in the train. This has taken 20 +mins from stonybrook. What is going on?

She adds she had to re-tap her Charlie Card to get back into the station.
