Time to make our streets safer for pedestrians.

I was seriously injured in a crosswalk in October. The driver put me in the hospital for a month and out of work for three months. I'm going to have repercussions from my injuries for the rest of my life. The driver's penalty was that he was issued a ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

people drive around here like its a freeway. its just a matter of time before someone is killed.

we need to learn something from Cambridge and have raised crosswalks all through out south boston and remove some parking spots that create blind spots when approaching intersections.

also, make one way, "zig zag" streets to deter traffic from driving through the residential sections.
