Roving UHub photographer (and NECN host) Sue O'Connell spotted this hawk checking out a squashed, frozen squirrel carcass on Marcella Street in Roxbury today.

Odds are an urban hawk in New England is a Red-tail. This one looks like a juvie.

I see coopers hawks from time to time in the city, but agree that red-tailed hawks are the most common.
