Boston Police report a man who robbed the Mt. Washington Bank at 489 Gallivan Blvd. on Sept. 1 returned on Thursday - only to be confronted by a fed-up Good Samaritan who managed to delay him until police arrived.
Kevin Rosher, 30, now faces two charges of armed robbery and one count of making a false bomb threat - when the bank customer confronted him, he started yelling he had a bomb, only he didn't, police say.
According to police, when officers arrived - summoned by the panic alarms tellers pressed as soon as they saw Rosher enter the bank:
Officers encountered the suspect who was involved in an altercation with a bank customer. Officers quickly apprehended the suspect. Officers spoke to the bank customer and obvious Good Samaritan who stated that he observed the suspect enter the bank with his hood up. According to the bank customer, he could tell the suspect was up to no good so he followed him when he left the bank. When the suspect entered the lobby of the bank, the bank customer confronted him.
