Police break up East Boston fight just before it becomes bloody

Area A-7 reports an officer on routine patrol in Central Square Thursday evening noticed two apparent drunks arguing in the middle of the street:

During the confrontation the suspect cocked his right arm backwards, with what appeared to be a knife in his right hand, in a motion of attack to stab the victim. The supervisor drew his firearm and ordered the suspect to drop the weapon and lie on the ground. The suspect complied and was handcuffed and placed under arrest and transported to District Seven.
