Whether it be violence in the community, education, the economy, or green energy, everyone needs to be heard. For the first time, the Young Professionals Network of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts (YPNULEM) is hosting a series entitled “Candid Conversations”. During this series, the community has the opportunity to speak to candidates directly and learn how each candidate stands on issues that matter the most to them. All are welcome to attend.

Ruined truck on Storrow Drive

Penske must love Storrow Drive. Photo by Matt DeCastro. See it larger.

A truck driver got an introduction to the immutable nature of Storrow Drive bridges and overpasses tonight at Fiedler Footbridge eastbound and now there's debris everywhere, a truck with a newly storrowed roof peeled back like a can of sardines and a driver who probably wishes he were someplace else.

Ed Coppinger notes the cop on the left is his brother, Mike (and we note that Ed is not the state rep - that's his cousin, Ed).
