Specifically how does an MA liberal differ from other liberals from other parts of the country that also have an obvious large liberal majority such as California or NY? </p> <p>Bush called Kerry this during a debate some years back and I never knew what he meant by that. Does it mean a liberal who also supports gay marriage since MA was the only state to pass that law?</p> <p>Any honest answers appreciated. I am also looking for a much better quality of life without having to move to the burbs' and still be very close to boston. I was drawn to it because it seemed much different in that it was artsy, diverse, laid-back, and seemed like there are real people there v.s. brighton which is filled with a lot of the same types of people-annoying preppy college kids, and sports obsessed meathead jocks. Not to mention all the trust fund drones who have no idea what life is about.</p> <p>But all i keep hearing is this Yuppie v.s.
