Brookline Police report arresting two Boston men on charges they held up and stabbed a man walking down Pleasant Street with his iPad on Tuesday.

Wallace Vick, 19, and Shaqone Cazeau, 20, will be arraigned tomorrow in Brookline District Court on charges of armed robbery while masked and armed assault with intent to murder.

Brian D'Amico and WTBU report somebody was punched and stabbed on Pleasant Street at Browne tonight. Police are looking for two men, both about 6' tall, wearing knit caps over their faces and fleece pullovers.

BU Today reports Evan Holmes, 29, was arraigned in Brookline District Court today for one of the three muggings of BU students last Friday and Saturday.

Wicked Local Brookline reports town leaders are tired of paying assessments to the county for services it doesn't use, such as road surveying.

In addition to saving the town money, the move, which would require approval by the state legislature, would remove a geographical oddity - Brookline is one of two towns in Norfolk County that are isolated from the rest of the county (quick, can you name the other?).

Brookline Police tweet one of the thug Toms that had terrorized townsfolk was captured today after an officer shot it with a beanbag gun. Wicked Local Brookline reports, however, the beanbag injured the bird enough that it had to be euthanized, leaving police two more aggressive avians on which to perfect their beanbag technique.

The gun belonged to the cafe's owner, who accidentally left it there.

MBTA Transit Police report arresting John Wintersteiner, 30, of Newton, on charges he masturbated at the Beaconsfield Green Line stop earlier this month to the shock of a woman on the other side of the tracks.

Wintersteiner, whom police said was dimed out via the T's anonymous tip line, will be arraigned in Brookline District Court today on a charge of open and gross lewdness, following his arrest at his home this morning.

MBTA Transit Police have posted a photo of a guy they say bashed the bishop at Beaconsfield on the evening of Dec. 3 while a woman looked on in shock from the other side of the tracks.

Brookline Police have issued tips for residents on how to survive until the National Guard or Will Smith can be brought in to take care of "the three most hostile tom turkeys." Among the tips:

Don't Let Turkeys Intimidate You – Don't hesitate to scare or threaten a bold, aggressive turkey with loud noises, swatting with a broom or water sprayed from hose. A dog on a leash is also an effective deterrent. ...
