The city's last two strip clubs, next door to each other on Lagrange Street in Chinatown, have agreed to make changes in the way they disperse customers at closing time following a 911 call from a nearby resident about the "circus atmosphere" on the small street early one June morning. Read more.

State Police reported around 1:45 p.m. they shut the highway to let Boston firefighters quench the fire, which was on the southbound side where the O'Neill opens back up into open sky.

The Boston Licensing Board today approved a deal with the owner of Icon and Venu on Warrenton Street to shut Icon for nearly a month and Venu for two weeks, partly as punishment for a string of incidents with pre-21 drinkers over the past year, partly to retrain and recertify their staff in how to recognize and bar underage would-be drinkers and how to better disperse crowds at closing time. A Chicago woman in town for a bachelorette night in May wound up spending much of her time in an emergency room after a flaming rum and whiskey drink set her face and upper torso on fire at Crave Mad for Chicken on Kneeland Street, police, her attorney and the restaurant's owner told the Boston Licensing Board today. The state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission yesterday upheld a five-day suspension levied against Icon on Warrenton Street for serving four underage Tufts freshmen on an April, 2016 night that ended with one of them falling to his death from the Tufts Medical Center garage. Read more.

An unconscious man lying in a stairwell and an underage college student with fake Colombian IDs could prove the straw that breaks the camel's back for Bijou, 51 Stuart St., which had to make the case to the Boston Licensing Board that its 2 a.m. closing time not be rolled back. Read more.

Boston Police report arresting Ricardo Edwards, Jr, 23, for a May 27 murder on Hudson Street.

The Herald reports A. Livingston Foxworth, the senior pastor at the Grace Church of All Nations in Dorchester, was among ten men arrested on charges of paying for sexual conduct in a sting involving an undercover police officer, an ad on backpage.com and a location on Pine Street in Chinatown.

Boston Police report officers who responded to a report of a fight at Bijou, 51 Stuart St., around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, found a combatant that witnesses said had pulled out a gun during the disturbance. Read more.

Victim identified as Kevin Reyes, 22, of Roxbury.

Boston Police report finding a man, in his 20s, shot at 66 Hudson St. around 2:35 a.m. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
