When they kick out your front door
How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head
Or on the trigger of your gun ?

You can bruise us

When the law break in
How you gonna go?
Shot down on the pavement
Or waiting on death row

That's BRAXTON, not Brixton! ;)

But then again this mook doesn't strike me as a Clash fan.

Because if he was Black, your white guilt wouldn't allow you to mention it in the article.

When it comes to reporting black on black crime, admin is way ahead of all local media, even the herald.

in the same context!

I'll give you the point that you cover all local crime better than any local newspaper, and give identifying details of the suspects when you have them. However, I really think you're being disingenuous here. Please point out the last article where you played guess the race with a black suspect. I can't remember it, and neither does google.

You, sir/madam, are absolutely correct: In all the history of Universal Hub, I have never before played Guess My Race!

Since you've obviously spent some time here, though, I'm surprised you missed this post from the night before, in which some people took what at the time was a one-sentence description of a mugging downtown and convinced themselves that was proof of the Trayvon Martin Race War (tm) that Fox News had warned them was coming.

Guess My Race was strictly in reaction to that discussion. Maybe I need to stop being so subtle and the next time I frame a post a particular way because of a post from a few hours earlier is to explicitly state: Hey, this lame-ass attempt at making a point is in direct response to the discussion at that post down the page.

Caught that post when there was only one comment, so I had no context. I agree that this post constitutes a lame-ass attempt at a direct response. I have no idea what Fox's coverage has been like this week, but WBZ 1030 (CBS) has been brining up both peaceful protests and violent incidents in other cities every day this week. I think you overreacted to someone's maladroit expression of hope that this wasn't the case here in Boston. Maybe you need a vacation.

RE: Guess My Race:

It was a rather bizarre thing to type. Wasn't funny and didn't add to the story. Confused by it, really.

If he were black, not "if he was black." I wish you conservatives would take a more conservative approach to grammar, too.

just not a blind ultra liberals, and yes you are correct in regards to my grammar. However i don't think grammatical errors have anything to do with someones party affiliation.

I wish I could down vote nit picking grammer police snarky posts.

There's a run on for ya.

Not the victim's fault, but openly counting cash on any T platform is not the best idea that I've beard of this year.

But that's victim blaming buddy, and that's a big no no here on Uhub

up

Because if we did what police told us to, we'd never leave our homes, never use our cellphones outside, never travel on foot alone, etc.

Fault lies solely with the person who decides to commit a crime, not with the person they target. That includes drivers who operate their cars without paying attention, driving too close to other road users, or thinking they have a magical right-of-way over others because they're bigger.

Neither is robbing someone in a well-lit spot loaded with cameras. I'm guessing that it will take about twenty seconds for someone to ID this guy.

Looks like another junkie convict shitbag. Their lives are so meaningless that being in prison is only a slight inconvenience to them.
No sense, no end game.

Saw the cash flash and couldn't resist it.

Let's just hope he ganked enough for a hot shot and he OD's tonight.

He appears to be a carbon-based being of the Human race. I don't normally guess about irrelevant things like that, so I can't be absolutely sure.

I mean, it does sound more like a country singer than pre-labor contractions, right?

I'm kind of surprised they didn't blame the Pitbull. (which looks a lot like the male counter part to my baby) The whole thing seems wrong, who counts their cash at the T station? Who brings their Pit down to the train, anyway? I honestly didn't think you could do that, I was kick off years ago with a well trained shepherd, which was leashed & muzzled, so we could get in town. But I was repeatedly told by the T only helper dogs or small lap dogs were allowed.

From the T website:

During off-peak hours, non-service dogs are allowed at the discretion of T vehicle operators. Dogs must be properly leashed and are not allowed to annoy riders or take up a seat. For safety and convenience during rush hours, small domestic animals must be carried in lap-sized containers and out of the way of exits.

Though that may be debatable in this case. I feel bad for the dog!

I bet he's already hit the freeway.

I see the people panhandling the intersection there and hanging out on the stairs by the north on ramp and wouldn't be surprised if he's somehow connected. At least one of the folks begging I could tell was shooting heroin from about 30 feet away (swelled hands/tracks and nodding off while standing).

It seems to me that the area around that station is backsliding compared to when I was there more frequently a few years back.
