Out of towners behaving badly: Two arrested for beatdown inside Theater District club

Boston Police report arresting two men from out of town on charges they kept throwing drinks on a man trying to get his dance on inside Royale, 279 Tremont St., and then, when they were done, beat him up.

Police said the victim looked up after having "several drinks thrown at him" around 1:20 a.m.:

When the victim looked to the upper level of the club to see who had been throwing the drinks, he observed the two male suspects who continued to throw drinks at him. While making his way to the upper level of the club, the victim was approached by the suspects on the stairs. One of the suspects then confronted the victim and an altercation ensued in which the victim was punched and kicked numerous times by both of the suspects. Security, taking notice of the incident, immediately stepped in and separated the parties involved, further detaining the suspects until officers arrived.

Christopher Learnard, 31, of Hooksett, NH, and Peter McNamara, 41, of Dracut, were charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, to wit, a shod foot, and assault and battery.

Throwing drinks on people? House arrest for the rest of their natural lives is the only way to protect society from these d-bags. If you don't get it at this point you never will.
