Our Gangbanger in Chief

The Herald digs up an old photo of Tom Menino flashing the same sort of finger symbol that got Paul Pierce in trouble.

I have a cousin who is deaf. I always feel bad that my ASL is pretty poor. Last time I talked with him, I ended up telling him that I'm sorry for forgetting most of my signing vocabulary.

He signed "it is okay, we're family".

So I popped two slugs in his chest! There was no way I was letting that gangbanger get the drop on me!

I saw what he did, and it looked alot like the "okay" sign. But because his fingers are brown it MUST be some sort of gang sign!

I now know that when my then 7- and 8-year old soccer players itched their noses, scratched their butts, or wiped sweat from their heads, the hispanic and carribean ones simply must have been making gang signs! I was so naive, even though they are only little kids - what is this world coming to when little kids make those signs. Must be those bad older ones, the pro sport guys, oh yeah! They had to be making those gangbanger signs constantly, particularly when they were signing something to the deaf kid (he's white, so he clearly could not have been gang signing to his dad ...).

Nasty ball players, polluting children! (/snark)

Nevermind that we recently saw a supreme court justice making a "mafia sign" implying a certain impossible autoerotic act should be performed.

To me, it just looked like the thing you do with your fingers, and then if your friends look at it, you get to punch them in the arm.

You only get to slug them if it's below your waist. Hehe.

Fun game.
