Bus on fire at Cabot Yard in South Boston

So when they do, the fire department comes calling. Peter Dziedzic had a front-row seat for the action when an MBTA bus apparently caught fire shortly before 8 p.m. in the Cabot bus yard near Broadway station in South Boston.

Aren't all T buses LNG now?

The bus in the photo is CNG, compressed natural gas. About a third of the MBTA bus fleet is CNG, the majority is still diesel.

I don't know if this still holds true or not, but it used to be the best way to tell: a small blue stripe over the thick yellow stripe on a bus indicates it is CNG. All other buses have black over yellow, indicating diesel.
