Why do they think people would want to riot? In Boston?

looking to capitalize on this incident, for ideological / political, purely selfish reasons, or because it offers a semi plausable excuse to act on their natural, sociopathic tendancies. never let a tragedy go to waste. But these robocalls obviously will not deter the above groups and individuals. They could care less about more violence occurring, and innocent people getting hurt or even murdered. The more radicalization, chaos, and drama, thr better they like it.

"They could care less about more violence occurring"

Your point is well taken, but of course you mean "they COULDN'T care less".

It's a common expression and you understood what they meant. Communication succeeded. I don't understand people who are so invested in correcting it just because the words don't make sense at face value. At least fully commit to your hobby and go after idioms as well.

It is a common colloquialism. Accept my apologies for using it. Didn't realize Uhub was so formal and uptight.

No doubt you also noticed I misspelled a word in the last sentence; it was a typo.

I live near Codman Square where there was someie9lk looting after MLK was assassinated, and again during the blizzard of 78. I would have expected a call from BPD too, but I haven't received one yet. I wonder who and where they targeted and if there are more calls to come.

I suspect we got a call because they were using the BPS robocall database. The call did mention "students" specifically, and while I would think the emphasis would be on college students, rather than kids in the local public schools, who knows? I did ask the kidlet if she were thinking of rioting and she replied no.

The WBUR web site lists seven people murdered in Boston since August 9th.

Riot - what riot? All murders are equal, but some murders are more equal than others.

that there will be no indictment of the police officer. Its almost like it was known before the grand jury was even chosen.

Next we will have public service announcements on the MBTA 'NO SERVICE NO PEACE"

and typical, p*ssy, cowardice of an anon to make light of such a serious battle cry.

Shouldn't they be making these robo-calls for Black Friday?

As a black I am offended by your lack of understanding, misguided attempt at opposing"racists". There are plenty opportunities on the this site to be offended/oppose a racist point/view/belief, this isn't one of them.

Can someone provide a transcript of the robocall?
