Dear Editor: I am 8 years old. Some of my little friends say there is no flooding on Morrissey Boulevard
By adamg on Mon, 12/22/2014 - 6:05pm
Yesterday, Deirdre showed us the electronic signboard on the southbound side of Morrissey Boulevard. As you can see above, the signage on the northbound side of the road is a bit different, even if part of the same general theme.
So beware of Morrissey Boulevard between now and the 26th.

I love these signs
Sure, some would complain about the nonstandard messages, but these definitely catch your eye.
We need
to find the genius behind these great signs and reward him/er.
But then again, because s/he works for the government, s/he will be punished and assigned to a reprogramming camp to un-learn things like "creativity" and "initiative."
Even my cold, shriveled heart
likes to see the merger of ancient pop history and present-day necessity.
High fives at the DPW yard
I enjoy the thought of DPW workers everywhere thinking "What can we do to get a photo our sign on Universal Hub" and then doing all those high-fives when it happens.
Blvd. sign.
Have you know I planned my shopping trip to Quincy today around the tides. Didn't want to drive on the median strip again to navigate Lake Morrissey!
There ain't no sanity clause, Virgin
Obviously a hacked message board.
I don't think so
First, it was two separate sign boards, one on either side of the stretch that floods. Second, it's been done before. Third, we know MassDOT has a sense of humor about signboards (Remember Use Yah Blinkah?).
