Guy won't move car in advance of Greek Independence Day parade, so cops move it for him - after shutting down road, T stop

Car won't move on Boylston Street

The intersection of Dartmouth and Boylston streets and Copley station on the Green Line were shut shortly before noon as the BPD bomb squad investigated a suspicious vehicle and its apparent driver.

Rory Razon, who took the photo of the car in question, reports:

Some idiot left his car and refused to move it. Police action. They took to guy into custody.

Roads were re-opened around 12:30 and the station about five minutes later after police deemed the vehicle not suspicious - and BTD came to tow it away - and the man was taken to the South End police station for questioning.

Not long after, Boylston was shut again - for the annual Greek Independence Day parade.

I'm glad the cops got to him before somebody's Ya-Ya whacked him with her purse. Please do not mess with Greek grandmas. You may not make it to Tuesday.
