Boston man faces up to life in prison for allegedly pimping two women and a teenager
Corey Smith, 35, was indicted this week on prostitution-related charges for activities over two years, including allegedly trafficking a minor in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Georgia, the US Attorney's office reports.
Smith was formally charged with one count of transportation of a minor for purposes of prostitution, one count of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and two counts of transportation of an individual with intent to engage in prostitution.
Prosecutors allege Smith brought the Massachusetts girl to other states for three months in 2015 and that he engaged in similar activities with two women in 2014 and 2015.
If found guilty, Smith faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison and a maximum sentence of life, the US Attorney's office reports.
