Two shot in Central Square

Cambridge Police report that two men were shot at 5 Western Ave., at River Street, one in the knee, one in the hand, around 10:45 a.m.

Police say:

Cambridge Police believe these are targeted incidents between known parties and that there is no threat to the public’s safety.

A red motor vehicle was reported as leaving the scene as well as a male on a white bicycle. The vehicle has since been seized by the Cambridge Police Department.
