Bears lumber into Waltham

Waltham is alerting residents that two black bears have been spotted on the north side of the city - and that they should note that bears love bird feeders and easily accessible trash bins.

That's maybe two or three miles from our house in Watertown. Guess this was the wrong day to spread all my trash on the lawn and cover myself in honey.

Luckily the office building next door to me and the condos across the street have overflowing dumpsters for the bears to indulge in fine-dining dumpster diving.

Too bad my birdfeeders are empty or it would be a real feast

Bears that have learned to find food from human sources are likely to end up dead. Whether accidental or deliberate, don't feed 'em.
