Some Green Line riders didn't get far because of a dead train at Reservoir

The MBTA reports it's hauled away the trolley that clutched its chest for the last time at Reservoir on the Riverside Line.

So what happened, another big event in the city where they tell you to take the T, and early at that, to avoid traffic and instead it backfires for the folks that try? If they can't execute for events like the Regatta and championship parades they're just kidding themselves.
