Watching downtown Boston pop up

Evolution of Downtown Boston

Commercial Cafe used 3D renderings of downtown Boston to create a flyover showing how downtown Boston grew from fairly low buildings to the skyscraper center it is today. They also take a look at some of the key buildings in that evolution, starting, of course, with the Custom House.

Suffolk County Courthouse is id'd as the Suffolk Club, and the largest buildings, the Hancock and Pru are not included because they are slightly out of frame. Seems incomplete.

The video is concentrated on "Downtown" development: Waterfront, DTX, Financial District. The Pru and Hancock are in Back Bay.

Especially since the Hancock/Copley Square are displayed twice in the pre-title sequence, which also includes two shots of a non-existent Ferris wheel.
