I'm no Johnny Cochran but I'm no Charlton Heston either. I just read about another youth that ran and was subsequently killed by a Police officer. We must teach our children not to run from the police. When confronted by any officer in uniform or plain clothes. Do not resist. And follow "ALL Commands." Police Officers are listed as para-military. Not after school counselors or babysitters. When an officer says don't move, don't move. Not for your I.D., not to put anything down. NOTHING. Answer all questions and move on...quitely.Richard Pryor said it best. Yes sir, yes sir. No sir...but it's no joke. Life is not like television.
This country will resemble South Africa in a very short time. We all better recognize.

Good kid, bad kid, good cop, bad cop. People are people and when it comes down to it we all do something good and something bad in our lives. I know the good/bad syndrome can be present in all of us. I know plenty of people who are kind to their neighbors & friends at 3:00 p.m. and then at 3:00 a.m. are unkind to someone else . . . . .

And to the comment about listening to the cops, when you are constantly harassed and disrespected by the uniform why would you be inclined to respect the uniform . . . ??
