what is this city why do we have to keep on killing each other it just make no sense to me if a person does something to you why cant we fight why do we have to shoot to kill i just dont understand why young kids want to kill i dont blame most parents because a lot of us try so hard to get our kids good life's and to teach them good things but some kids just go the wrong way. i mean damn what could a person possibly do to be killed why cant we pick another why like damn if a nigga did something that bad to you cant you aim for the legs or something i mean i dont support shoting some one but if it was to be done so be it but lets just stop killing eachother cause we never come back and you also hurt the people in that person life.

We need to help kids get out of the gang and violent culture. Do so, we need to vilify the rap music artist and their culture of violence. These thugs are losers.
There should also be a mandatory life inprisonment for gun violence- no question asked.
A 7 year term should be impossed for gun possession without a license and training.
Police should also earn their pay.....Each gun violent crime should be solved.....How? Hire smart police. Japan does it, England does it....why not Massaschusetts.

In a time when no one is allowed to discipline anyone, without being labeled "abusive"....when everyone is angry, I mean ANGRY over EVERYTHING...the War, high prices, cost of living, joblessness...and seeing others making obscene amounts of money and flaunting it...when parents don't PARENT and don't show models of respect for life and law and OTHER PEOPLE...what do you expect?
It's not law enforcement that's going to do it, it's up to people to take responsibility for their actions and the consequences of their actions. Our society is falling apart all around us and we want someone else to fix it. It won't happen. You have to fix it yourself, starting with YOURSELF and how you model being a good citizen to your children, your family and your community.

To..what the hell is happening!
You're a hypocrite. You said u don't understand why these young kids keep killing each other over and over and how there needs to be a change, yet you said why can't they 'aim for the legs or something!' Let me tell you something YOU ARE SUPPORTING SHOOTING IF YOU WOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE! It would be different if you would have said stop the violence all together. Stop contradicting yourself. Pick a side don't go against yourself!
on November 25, 2007 10:18 AM
for the message above i would never contradict my self the violence will never stop so all i said is lets just stop the killing and if you fell like you want to shoot you dont have to kill anyone thats what i said and thats what i stand by.

I mean you have to understand what type of future is there really for blacks in Boston. No white people live in those areas. I'm trying to make it out this place alive myself. Kids goto school to socialize not to learn. They go not because they want to because they have no choice. These girls are way to young to be having sex. One of the reason people are dying here are because of the women. They don't respect themselves. Sleep wit more than one guy then people die. I mean its much bigger than to wave a magic wand. Just like drugs you can't stop it. People would cause more crimes against humanity from going through withdrawal from the drug. What they need is for someone to show them the way. When you the only child growing up with no father because he walked out because his mom slept around back in her days its hard because n one positive is there to show them the way. And if you been charged with a crime its def not going be good. I worked from 14 since, lost my job my credit is fucked. You think someone is gonna help me. Theres no fixing that. I lost two close friends in the past two years who didn't want to live that life in the streets but had no other place to go. So for the people living in Orange Ma and Florida Ma please don't judge because until you walk a mile in our shoes you can never feel our pain. And Life will always remind a problem because everything dies.

to "what the hell is happening" Sean Taylor the football player got shot in the leg & died. I also grew up w/someone who got stabbed in the leg one time & died. To say aim for the leg is just as ridiculous as to shoot to aim & kill. What happened to "TALK IT OUT". Violence should not be an option or a choice.

the violence will never stop if you want to pray about it fine do you but im just saying how i feel and you should do the same dont keep looking at what i write and leaving comments for me. there will never be a time when we can talk it out that part of our life's are over so if you people wanna think that the volence can stop please wake up guns knife etc are all over the place we dont have control anymore. so all that i can say is to all the parents get your kids together make sure you know what there doing at all time's. no violence should not be a option or a choice but no adays it's whatever. oh and to all the people who took time out to comment me back i hope that you have a safe & peaceful holiday!!!!!!

Umm.. there might be some violence becuz of women but the majority of the violence is because of gangs and envy.AND not everytime a child grows up without a father is because of the mother sleeping around in the past. You are talkin about one particular situation. No reason to blame it on the women. And plus, if the women is a WHORE, the men should be smart enough not to risk their life over someone worthless.
PEOPLE SHOULD LEARN TO GET OVER SHIT NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IS. VIOLENCE SHOULD NOT BE A CHOICE!..ITS LIKE A FUCKING VICIOUS CYCLE AND ITS UP TO OUR GENERATION TO BREAK IT.

whats going on in our city
people kill me when they say they didnt mean to kill that person they just wanted to scare em'
well guess what guns are made for, to kill. guns were never intended on scaring people, so when u say it was an accident thats bull shit
there has to be more done for us, the only time people wanna come and help our city is when a visitor from another city gets killed in a gang shoot out
WE NEED CHANGE YESTERDAY,TODAY and TOMMORROW
walking away from a fight doesnt make you a bitch it makes you live another

All of you and every1 else who hasn't even seen any of this has got to relax. No matter how much we hate it violence is an option and a choice and unfortunately people of all ages have taken this choice. Sadly the younger generation has been so influenced by such violent things such as Grand Theft Auto, Hollywood, music...everything that's in your basic daily life. Obviously we aren't going to dramatically change the world one day so all of you just shut it with saying stop the violence blah blah blah. Because we get it, everyone wishes for the same thing. But please just take a breath, look around you, look at your life...your losses, your gains. The people you love and the people you hate, think back on your mistakes. Maybe somethings you have done in your past has influenced some1 to do something that influenced another, our world is just one huge chain reaction. So now you can't do anything about the past to leave it there and let go of it, but never forget, you must remember the past to learn from it. We all must learn from the past of ourselves, friends, family etc. and now as you leave the past you can think of the future but as you're sitting here reading this think to yourself and what you're doing right this very moment. Why are you right here reading this? Is the computer so important to you, leave this and think about what you've done today. Call an old friend or a family member and tell them you love them. Find some one you've hurt or even some one you feel has hurt you and talk it out because you only live once and it's just not worth holding onto that grudge. Be there for every1, even if you don't even know them. Because every1 stumbles, every1 falls and needs that helping hand so stop just living for yourself and open your arms to the person on the bus or subway that looks so tired or angry and find them a seat, make sure they're okay and lend an ear or just a shoulder to lean on.
Look we all worry so much about physical violence when we should really be looking at the inside of others, what's going on in there. Mental thoughts are what creates the psychical anger in all of us. So stop focusing on the results of all this, we have to stop all of this at where everything begins.

The thing is that there are too many people who don't have money and only know one path to getting it...the street life. Money is the root of all evil whether it be murders or other crime. People on the streets are brought up to think Money=Power+Respect so they rob and kill to get that money whether it be by taking drugs or just straight up money. I speak from experience...having lost a friend to a fatal gunshot wound. Life is too short my dudes. For real. Stay focused on family, friends and keep your asses out of trouble because no matter how hard you are, no matter how gangster you consider yourself to be, there is always someone else who is more of a G than you...who has more money, more power and more respect (fear). Don't get mixed up in Bull Shit keep your eyes straight and stay focused.

Hi everyone, its obvious that you all care about life you just have different ways of expressing your concerns. I just wondered if there is anyone out there that feels that there is no love in the world no hope so what happens is just what happens they have no space to grieve or think about loss or pain. In fact death is just the other side to life. I am trying to understand if its a total suppression or absence of human love that drives a person to take a life
