Arrested for carjacking a cabbie

Man punches cabbie in head, drives off with cab, then drives in front of cabbie talking to police.

John David Maurer, 27, of Boston was arrested and charged with Carjacking, Assault and Battery, Operating a Motor Vehicle without a License, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident for hitting another car and fleeing while he was operating the stolen cab.
