No pat answers as police charge man with assault and battery with a dangerous butter knife
File this under: Yeesh. Boston Police report an argument at Stella Restaurant, 1525 Washington St., turned ugly last night when one patron stabbed another diner in the chest with a butter knife - and then continued the fight outside, where he really tried to put the hurt on the guy. It all started around 10:50 p.m.:
Staff members at the restaurant broke up the fight without realizing that the suspect had used a butter knife as a weapon. Believing the altercation to be over, the staff escorted suspect from the premises and left him on West Brookline Street.
Soon after, the victim left the bar, where he encountered the suspect a second time. Another altercation broke out, in which the victim was punched, thrown to the ground, and kicked by the suspect. During the struggle, a nearby motor vehicle's windshield was smashed.
Cleon Tagaris, 38, was arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery, police say, adding the victim was treated and released at Boston Medical Center.
Innocent, etc.

No, I think they curled up
No, I think they curled up and spooned with him.
I think they should charge
I think they should charge him with a salt and buttery.
...
This certainly wasn't ...
a stick up, although they probably im-pound-ed the knife.
I wonder what got him so whipped up?
I can't believe it's not premeditated!
This guy's toast.
impulse control
Impulse control people, impulse control.
Imagine stabbing your dinner partner with your silverware? Hmmm... do I use my butter knife or dinner knife...
No, I'll get this check, you can get the next one.
I bet he had an alibi
But it probably melted pretty quickly under questioning. Oh, well, butter luck next time. In any case, the victim can be thankful he didn't throw the butter knife at him.
How dairyou use such a bad
How dairyou use such a bad pun. Promise™ you won't do it again.
I heard
when they cuffed him they told him to spread 'em before they patted him down.
Cleon Tagaris, 38
When will the police finally throw the key away and keep this animal locked up!
there's more to this story
If he stabbed him intentionally, then why didn't he flee the scene, and why weren't the police or an ambulance called immediately. I know somebody who was there and said that the alleged victim stayed there for around another 20 minutes, consuming a couple more beverages before leaving, and that he and a friend stated let's go kill that guy when they saw him standing a block away by himself, and left to go after him.
No pat answers as police charge man with assault and battery wi
Hopefully someday as he is a repeat offender. Buried a druggie friend in a shallow grave in Mansfield, Ma. After leaving him in the former house of his self made millionaire Father. Mansfield got a tip something was fowl at the address and contacted a family member. Mysteriously the body end up buried and was located by the police. Cleon Tagaris was charged with illegal disposing of a body. Nice slap on the wrisit for a man who showed no remorse or thoughts of the family left wondering what happened to their son, brother etc. Money talks. And money is what he and his siblings have now that Daddy had a stroke and while over medicated they had him sign an irrevocable trust. Upon Daddy finding out when he got away from them and started getting his life back he started a law suit to retrive his millions they had stole from him. But they got their hands on him on a trip to Massachusetts to go to court against them. And to this very day the wheelchair man is held prisioner in his own home. While it's still HIS home. Nice guy huh??? Evil family. Lock them all up and throw away the KEY!!!
Wow, he actually was never
Wow, he actually was never charged with anything of the sort. You obviously are someone who is very bitter and jealous of the whole family, possibly a gold digging x who had no problem draining this man of millions before his family caught wind and stopped you from going any further. How pitiful you are, you should be ashamed of yourself, but how could you be because you don't notice these things when you're a sick person. By the way the charges against this person were dismissed becuae it was seld defense after real witnesses stepped forward and not his friends.

Cleon Tagaris joined the pantheon of crafty crooks this week when he was allegedly able to dodge a drug charge through some quick thinking.
Tagaris had been monitored by the police Wednesday evening in South Boston when officers allege that the suspect engaged in a drug transaction. A marked cruiser stopped the car Tagaris was driving and when officers approached the vehicle, they allege he placed a small plastic bag in his mouth.
Tagaris, who allegedly shoved an officer repeatedly, was eventually subdued, but only after swallowing the plastic bag.
He was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer.
