Boston Police describe quite the touching scene in Mattapan last night when they cornered a 16-year-old charged with being part of an armed duo that held up a food-delivery guy around 10 p.m. at 2 Sutton St.:

[A]s officers approached the suspect, he immediately removed the mask from his face and admitted to officers that he had a BB gun on his person. Furthermore, the suspect sobbed to officers, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I won't do it again!"

The kid, from Dorchester, was charged with assault with intent to rob. His alleged accomplice remains at large.
