Maybe he should have asked if they were done with their food first

Boston Police report on a patron at the Parish Cafe, 361 Boylston St., who allegedly reached over and took a bite out of another patron's sandwich when he and a companion went outside for a smoke early this morning. When the couple returned, they complained and restaurant workers demanded the patron pay up for his own meal and leave. And that would have been the end of it, police say, except the guy returned 25 minutes later and demanded to be let back in. When workers refused, police say:

The suspect kicked and shattered the front door and then fled the area.

Manas Adhikari, 29, of Cambridge was charged with being really gross willful and malicious destruction of property.

Police add that Adhikari denied ever going near the restaurant, but that among the items they removed from his person was his receipt from the restaurant - dated 11/21.

Police add this was the second door-busting rampage in a day. Around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, police charged Patrick Maddox, 23, of Laguna Beach, CA with willful and malicious destruction of property for allegedly kicking and shattering the front door at the Bukowski Tavern, 90 Dalton St., after he was heaved out for allegedly being an angry drunk.

Innocent, etc.
