Damien Smith pleaded innocent in Dorchester District Court today, was ordered held without bail, according to the Suffolk Country District Attorney's office, which issued a statement on the case:

Investigators believe the 25-year-old victim's killers rang his doorbell at about 1:45 Thursday morning. A man identifying himself as "D" on the building's intercom system was buzzed in.

Investigators believe two men entered the residence, including one known to some witnesses as Damien. Together, they went to the victim's bedroom and a single shot rang out. The two men who had entered the house together then ran out together.

Lewis was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead of his injury.

Police continue to hunt the alleged accomplice.
