Charged with threatening cabbie with a razor
Boston Police report a woman in an argument with a cab driver pulled a razor on him around 2:40 a.m. on Saturday.
Police say the Emily Sheik, of Boston, got in a cab in Saugus and asked to be taken to Boston. The driver agreed provided she pay $40 up front. However, they got into an unspecified argument and at Causeway and Washington streets, she demanded to be taken back to Saugus. He said that would be another $40, at which point she pulled the razor and demanded her money back.
Instead, she was arrested on a charge of assault with intent to rob.
Innocent, etc.
