Man shot repeatedly in Dorchester hangs on for two days, dies

The Globe reports a guy walked up to him shortly after 9 a.m. at Washington and Lyndhurst streets and opened fire.

Police arrest two for the shooting

Boston Police report arresting Patrick M. Grier, 20, of Dorchester, and a 16-year-old female accomplice on charges of assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

Police say their victim, 19 17, is currently in critical condition at Boston Medical Center.

Grier and teen each held in lieu of $1 million bail

Following their arraignment in Dorchester District Court today, according to the Suffolk County DA's office.

A Vigil Tonight at Washington & Lyndhurst Street

I drove by tonight and saw poeple mourning and having a candlelight vigil for the victim who was shot Monday morning at Lyndhurst and Washington Street.

Victim dies

Boston Police report that Deandre Barbosa, 17, of Dorchester, died Wednesday night.

Patrick Grier, 20, of Dorchester and an alleged teen accomplice will now be charged with murder.
