Police: Limo-riding goons smash two with bare fists, brass knuckles
Boston Police report on a brawl outside Faneuil Hall early this morning that left one man unconscious, one with a broken nose and four under arrest.
Police say the melee began around 2:15 at North and Union streets:
According to witnesses, a white limo pulled up to the victims and five to six individuals exited the car and proceeded to punch and kick the victims. Witnesses say the suspects then re-entered the limo and fled the area.
Police say they caught up with the limo on Soldiers Field Road:
Officers quickly noted that four of the occupants appeared as if they had been involved in some sort of physical altercation. Specifically, officers observed and noted that the suspects in question had among other things: bloodied, swollen knuckles, ripped clothing and clothing with blood on it. A search of the car enabled officers to locate a pair of brass knuckles.
Arrested and charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon: James King, 26, of Middletown, RI, Chris Kilroy, 26, of Newport, RI, Dewey Guntar, 25, of Charlestown, RI and Jeremy Schmidt, 29, of Amesbury.
Innocent, etc.

This is not uncommon
The Fanueil Hall area is notorious for violent bands of young males from out of town starting fights and beating up people in packs. Remember that group from Weymouth who beat a man to death a few years ago?
Boys from the suburbs with anger issues, Dutch courage, and strength in numbers.
From the brass knuckles (illegal in Mass.) I'd say they had this in mind from the start.
The Kenmore Club
That place attracted suburban wannabe thugs like flies. After living in Kenmore Square for several years without incident, one of my housemates was walking down a crowded street and some little spoiled northshore brat decided to attack him, breaking his jaw, while the drunken underage buddies egged him on.
To think we were all warned about dangerous neighborhoods where those minority people lived, yet were in most danger from drunken brats in town to go to the disco craphouses.

Surprisingly, these are really intelligent, non-violent, nice kids who I know quite well. Something is missing in this story. We are so quick to believe Police and Fire reports when in fact they are more often inaccurate then not.
Brass knuckles may be illegal but one might carry them (concealed) incase of attack (I do). Nowhere does it say that the brass knuckles were used; nor any mention of evidence suggesting such. The charges will be dropped as soon as things things start to (not) add up.
Just read the title, "limo riding goons smash two with bare fists, brass knuckles". Brass knuckles what? What about brass knuckles?? They were found in the limo. Big deal.
On another note...
Police are going side with the outnumbered locals. They would do the same here. Maybe these 2 kids initiated the fight with one of these "suburban" kids without knowing that there were 4 others present. Perhaps these "suburban" kids were simply breaking up that fight and the situation escalated to the level it did. The truth will come out and we'll all feel stupid for being so gullible.

The "really intelligent, non-violent, nice kids " as you call them are Dumb, Violent, pieces of shit. They sucker punched two really intelligent, non-violent, nice kids, broke both of their jaws and left one nice kid unconscious in the middle of the street not knowing if the kid was dead or alive. And yes you will be disappointed when all of the facts are out.
