Never wear white after Labor Day or black after midnight

Boston Police report that officers investigating a stabbing by a group of three thugs clad entirely in black at 1747 Dorchester Ave. early this morning wound up arresting a different guy, clad entirely in black, for a different offense.

Police say the officers were cruising the area when they spotted a guy clad entirely in black. Based on his clothing and the fact that he walked across the street when he saw their cruiser, the officers decided to have a little chat. He allegedly was a bit short of breath and seemed to get more and more nervous as the officers asked him where he came from:

Officers performed a pat frisk of the suspect and noticed a hard object in the suspect's jacket pocket. Officers questioned the suspect about what the hard object was and he told officers that it was a cell phone. After further feeling the object and not knowing what it was, the suspect told officers that it was a knife. Officers then concerned based on the feel of the object, removed it from the suspect's jacket and found that it was a double-barreled handgun.

Belal I. Ibrahim, 23, of Roxbury was then arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Innocent, etc.
