Police: Alleged idiot throws block of ice through cab windshield

Boston Police report arresting a man after a cabbie identified him as the guy who threw a block of ice through his front windshield around 2:17 a.m. on Saturday:

On arrival, officers spoke to the operator of a taxicab who stated that he was slowing for a red light at the intersection of Surface Road and Broad Street when the suspect threw what appeared to be an ice block through the front windshield of the cab. According to the operator of the cab, the windshield shattered upon impact. At this time, the operator of the cab quickly exited his car and began chasing the suspect.

Josh Brown, 21, of Boston, was charged with willful and malicious destruction of property.

If it turns out they got the right guy, kudos to the cabbie for helping nab him.

More than once that I've reported crimes to the police, I felt bad when I realized I couldn't give a good description of the suspect.
