Police: No more Smooth moves

Boston Police report that an officer who stopped a man on suspicion of shooting a gun on Harrison Avenue last night realized the guy was wanted for an earlier armed holdup at Lenox Street and Shawmut Avenue in the South End. Mac S. Little, 49, of Roxbury, known on the street as "Smooth," was then arrested and charged with armed robbery:

The victim told offices that he was approached by two described black males when one of the suspects referred to as "Smooth" was told to do it now. At that point, the victim reported to officers the suspect 'Smooth" pulled out a handgun, and he was robbed of his money. The victim told officers that he chased the suspects to 9 Trotter Court after he was robbed but they fled into an unknown apartment in the building. The victim then told officers that the suspect "Smooth" is known to him, and he provided officers with a cell phone number for suspect, "Smooth."

Police add officers were investigating the Harrrison Avenue gunfire after it was detected on the department's "ShotSpotter" system. The other suspect is still at large.
