Mattapan parking dispute ends with stabbing
Boston Police charge Anthony Mingoes, 37, brought a knife to a parking fight around 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Police allege that when Mingoes and another man got into an argument over a space at 65 Deering St., he pulled out a knife and stabbed the other guy - and then apparently decided he didn't really want the space after all, since he got back into his Ford Expedition and drove away.
Police say they found Mingoes a couple hours later "hiding behind a cardboard box" at 6 Ashmont St. He'll be headed to court Monday for arraignment on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. His victim will survive, police said.
Innocent, etc.

Given the number of parking-space-related incidents in the city,
it comes as no surprise that a dispute over a parking space ultimately resulted in a stabbing. It was bound to come to that sooner or later.
