Boston Police report a violent food fight at Chau Chow Restaurant, 83 Essex St., left three people with stab wounds and one guy with a large gash from the plate that came flying into his head while he was trying to eat, shortly before 3 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers observed a large group of people exiting the establishment. Officers entered the building and found it to be in disarray. Numerous tables and chairs were turned over and food was covering the floors. Restaurant employees informed officers that a large fight had occurred within the restaurant.
